So much good stuff I might explode!
First things first, I’ve had my first interview as a first-time author! Christina Hamlett (no relation to the guy from Denmark) interviewed me over at You Read It Here First.
My second interview has followed quickly on the heels of the first. My blogging tribe mate Darcie interviewed me on her blog, Belle of the Carnival.
You know, for my first interview, I was very nervous. I put off opening the questions for a couple of days because I was convinced I’d have no idea what to say. Then I opened them and had a BLAST responding. Getting over my nervousness the first time made me eager to do the second interview. And it was so interesting to see how the interviewers chose such different questions to ask. It was a pleasure to work with both Christina and Darcie.
Then, out of the blue, I also have received a SURPRISE BLOG REVIEW™. Leslie Annis, also known as Lannis, gave Kiss Chronicles a review that’s both positive and constructive on her blog, Chez Lannis.
The icing on all of this delicious cake? I’ve made a custom T-shirt for Kiss Chronicles. To the lovely ladies of my BlogHer tribe: You are going to be able to recognize me instantly on the first day of the BlogHer ’13 conference.
I AM MY OWN BILLBOARD!
*quietly explodes*
Lovelovelovelove!!!
😀 I can’t wait to show you the T-shirt in person!
I love the new shirt! Very cool!
Hehe, thanks! I figure it advertises for me and keeps me from being naked at the same time, so it’s win-win.
Definitely! I think it is an excellent idea! You are going to have a wonderful time!
Congratulations on the interviews and the review. I read them all! You did amazing with your answers. I love the shirt. You will rock and BlogHer.
I’m keeping you around forever, Stevie. You’re good for my ego. *cuddles Stevie to bits* Oh man, I wish you were coming to BlogHer! I want to meet you too!
*cuddles Virginia right back* Yes please keep me! I wish I was going to BlogHer too. I’m hoping to go to the next one! I was telling my husband about it and he replied I think you need to wait until you are a bigger blogger. I said No! You don’t get it. Bigger bloggers don’t need conferences. Who do you think conferences are for? He said, um, crappy bloggers? So clearly he does not get it.
